DSE Achaia
With this project DSE Achaia aim to contribute to more inclusive mobilities for VET students with disabilities in Greece. We seek to gain insight into the needs and barriers they face before, during and after their mobility and raise awareness on the opportunities for improvement.
We also like to increase the knowledge and skills of VET professionals for supporting these students. We plan to provide accessible information and share experiences and best practices to lower the barriers for students with disabilities to start a mobility experience.
We work toward providing more inclusive mobility programmes for VET students with disabilities by delivering useful tools to schools, teachers and staff personnel. In that respect we plan to create practical toolkit, including a self-assessment and guidelines, to improve the knowledge and skills of VET professionals on inclusive mobility programs. This will help them adapt their mobility programs to the needs of students with disabilities and support them before, during and after their mobility. In that way we looking forward to expand inclusion and diversity in VET education.
