Inclusive education is a priority in the European Pillar of Social Right. Everyone has the right to inclusive education. This is also stated in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.  However, persons with disabilities often experience barriers during their studies. This is also the case for participating in mobility programs. Students with disabilities experience barriers which results in not many of them participating in mobility programs (European Commission, Erasmus+ Annual Report 2022). Yet, an international experience is very important for the personal development of all students. Studying or working abroad provides students with the opportunity to develop their independence, self-confidence and resilience (European Commission, Education and Training Monitor, 2018).
