Target groups IMVET
The focus of IMVET is on the creation and implementation of internationalisation strategies for Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers.
Main target group
The main target group of the IMVET project is students with disabilities. Based on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, this group is defined as ‘students with long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments or learning difficulties.’ The project focuses on this group of students, and therefore also involve them in the research, the toolkit and the information provision.
Second target group
The second target group is VET educational professionals that are working on internationalization and international mobilities and support students before, during and after their mobility. This can be staff, such as international coordinators and internship supervisors and teachers.
Indirect target group
The indirect target group consists of policymakers of organizations dealing with VET mobility policies at regional, national or European level, such as the Ministries of Education. Also, employers working with interns are targeted indirectly.
