Testing toolkit materials in Málaga
The IMVET project’s second Learning, Teaching & Training Activity (LTTA) took place in Spain, in beautiful and sunny Málaga, from November 18th to 20th, 2025, hosted by Cesur. This second LTTA focused on the topic: “Testing and contributing to the improvement of the toolbox and communication materials developed for inclusive mobility in vocational education and training.”
LTTA focus: Improving the toolbox and communication material
All project coordinators from the Netherlands, Estonia, Greece, and Finland travelled there together with one teacher and one student from each participating organization. Koning Willem I College also brought along their media team for Work Package 5 photo and video production.
Supporting young people with support needs
What do young people with additional support needs require for a successful international experience?
And how can schools, companies, and host countries provide that support?
During the LTTA workshops we reviewed and discussed:
- research results
- the self-assessment tool
- guidelines for inclusive mobility
- the student campaign
The expected final outcomes of the IMVET project include a toolkit for VET professionals featuring a self-assessment tool for organizations, as well as practical guidelines and tools on how to make mobility programs more inclusive for students with disabilities.
Support in action: schools, companies, and host countries
During the LTTA workshops, we tested the toolkit and gathered feedback from teachers and students. Just like in the LTTA in Patras a year ago, the role of the students: Laura, Kia, Maria, Wout, Bauke, and Chris was crucial once again! They shared their thoughts and opinions very openly. Thank you so much!

The power of face-to-face meetings
Meeting project partners in person, not just on a laptop screen during the monthly meetings, is one of the best parts of project work. Workshops with students and teachers from each participating country, cultural exchanges, and collaboration always spark new ideas. Time flies when working together, so there is still plenty of work to do before everything is finished for the IMVET project. But we are motivated! All work will be completed by August 2026. You will hear more about our toolkit during the Multiplier Events in each country next spring.
Exploring Málaga: cultural exchange and sightseeing
The evening program luckily included some free time for sightseeing, allowing us to explore Málaga’s beautiful port, beaches, and museums. On Wednesday evening, we learned about important landmarks and parts of Málaga’s history during a two-hour guided walking tour through the city center. During the LTTA days, we also enjoyed delicious Spanish lunches and dinners!
Heartfelt compliment: students’reflections on acceptance
During the closing session our students shared that they “wished for the world to be as accepting as this group has been to them this week’’. We could not have wished for a bigger compliment!
Muchas gracias to the Cesur team, Vanesa, Aga & Valeria, for hosting and organizing these LTTA days!
